The funk and acid-jazz band Jamiroquai around lead-singer Jay Kay is set to release their new album "Rock Dust Light Star" in the last quarter of 2010, five years after their hit record "Dynamite". Jay Kay said in a recent interview that the break was necessary and helped him to refresh his mind in order to create another album. He also stated that the music was all live recorded in his studio in Buckinghamshire and is believed to carry the vibe of their shows.
Jamiroquai is now signed at Universial Records, who announced the first single called "White Knuckle Ride" for an october release.
